Scribeberry is a Canadian-built, multi-specialty AI scribe covering ambient visit notes, dictation, custom templates, and PDF form auto-fill, with 40+ languages supported. After a 3-day unlimited trial, the free plan continues at 20 uses/month; the Pro plan is $99/month for unlimited use, and an Enterprise plan at $79/user/month requires 5+ providers. It advertises one-click workflows for Epic and Jane plus the Canadian EMRs Accuro and Oscar Pro (neither of which we track in our EHR filters, so they do not appear in its integration chips), with a Chrome extension and desktop app for other web-based EMRs (Cerner, athenahealth, and eClinicalWorks are named). Compliance posture: the vendor cites SOC 2 Type 2 (report available by request; no auditor named publicly), self-reports HIPAA and PIPEDA compliance, advertises a BAA, and states that no audio recordings are stored and no AI models are trained on PHI. It lists psychiatry among ten supported specialties but documents no therapy-specific note formats, so we treat it as a general scribe. What these compliance chips mean
- HIPAA: self-reported by the vendor. HIPAA has no certifying body, so self-reporting is normal — treat it as a claim, not proof. Any third-party audit the vendor cites is shown separately under SOC 2.
- SOC 2: the vendor cites a SOC 2 attestation, but the evidence is not fully public — for example the report is only available by request, or no auditor is named. Treat it as a vendor claim until you request the report.
