Overview

ClinicAI is an independent review platform for healthcare AI tools. We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about the data we collect and how we use it. This policy applies to all visitors and users of clinicaimatch.com.

Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Reviews: When you submit a review, we collect your display name, role, specialty, practice type, EHR system, years of experience, and review content. We do not collect your real name unless you choose to use it as your display name.
• Newsletter: If you subscribe, we collect your email address. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• Quiz: When you use the recommendation quiz, we collect your responses (practice type, specialty, EHR, budget, priorities) to generate recommendations.

Information collected automatically

• Affiliate clicks: We record when you click an outbound link to a vendor website, including which page and section of the site the click came from. Clicks made from your quiz results are linked to that quiz submission (and, if you chose to receive your results by email, to the email you provided) so we can measure which recommendations are actually useful. We do not share this data with vendors.
• Rate limiting: We store a one-way hash of your IP address to prevent spam. We do not store raw IP addresses.

How We Use Your Information

• Display your reviews to help other practitioners
• Generate personalized tool recommendations via the quiz
• Send newsletter updates (only if you subscribe)
• Improve site content and tool coverage based on usage patterns
• Prevent spam and abuse

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your email address with vendors or any third party.

Affiliate Disclosure

ClinicAI intends to earn revenue through affiliate commissions when a reader clicks through to a vendor and makes a purchase. No affiliate programme is active yet — no tool we cover currently carries an affiliate link, and we have earned nothing to date. When that changes, this sentence changes with it: it is generated from the same data as the published list on our methodology page. Either way it does not affect our editorial independence — we assess tools using our methodology, not affiliate relationships. We publish tools we don't recommend regardless of affiliate status.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security policies. Reviews are moderated before publishing. We use HTTPS for all connections. We do not store payment information — all transactions happen directly on vendor websites.

Your Rights

• Access: You can request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Deletion: You can request deletion of your reviews or newsletter subscription at any time.
• Correction: You can request corrections to any information associated with your reviews.

HIPAA Notice

ClinicAI is not a covered entity under HIPAA. We do not collect Protected Health Information (PHI). Reviews contain practitioners' professional opinions about software tools — not patient data. Do not include any patient information in your reviews.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our site evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We will not materially reduce your rights without notice.
